Shop the Season: For the Friend of Man's Best Friend

Amanda from the executive office loves pooches. She took a stroll around the Bank of America Winter Village Holiday Shops and made a list of gifts for the canine-obsessed on your list.

I am a puppy fangirl. I don’t mean that I’m a dog person and will never be a cat lady; I mean that I follow 15+ pups on Instagram and am as up-to-date on what Smalls the Corgi and Sir Charles Barkley (a Frenchie) did this week as I am my own mother.

If anyone – ANYONE – is buying me a gift this holiday season, please swing by the Holiday Shops at Winter Village. I spotted a number of dog-adorned items that are now at the top of my wish list.

For the Christmas Tree
A porcelain ornament with room for an inscription. The North Pole, K11.
Even your pup can get a Christmas ornament!

For subway reading
Yes, I have been wondering what my Frenchie is thinking. Best of Pals, C4/7.
Now I'll be able to find out!

For the office
A clock with a wagging tail is too fun to pass up. Great work by artists Peter Hill and Tara Cafiero. Pink Cloud Gallery, H11.
The tails keep time--much more interesting than a second hand!

For snowy days
These furry hats and scarves are kid-sized. Shucks! BearHands & Buddies, G4.
...but I'll try to squeeze my head into one of the hats anyway.

For remembering Bryant Park
In Maureen Sullivan and Alison Josephs’ Christmas Feet for Carlos, Carlos the Bulldog visits Bryant Park during the holiday season and indulges in ice skating, shopping and more! Buy the book alone, as a set of three Carlos favorites, or with a Carlos in Bryant Park T-Shirt. Park Shop & Info, A6.

What a cute pooch.
