Reading Room Cliffs Notes is the essential guide to what's going on in the Reading Room for the upcoming week. The "Flashback" section captures a highlight from last week, while "Foreshadowing" gives a full list of the upcoming week's events. Make a visit to the Bryant Park Reading Room presented by HSBC a plot point in your week!

Flashback to Author, Comedian, and Actor Colin Quinn
Dave Itzkoff (left) and Colin Quinn (right) leave the audience laughing as they discussed Quinn's new book, The Coloring Book.

Colin Quinn, former SNLer and movie actor (you may have seen him in Amy Schumer's hit movie Trainwreck) stopped by the Bryant Park Reading Room last week to chat about his book, The Coloring Book: A Comedian Solves Race Relations in America. Quinn tackles the racial issues in NYC and leaves no group behind. His personal anecdotes and comedic take make this book a must read!
