7pm: Word For Word Poetry presents Poetry Man, a tribute to Paul Romero
Word for Word Poetry pays tribute to Bryant Park's very own Paul Romero.

12:30pm: Word for Word Author presents Jean Kwok, Mambo in Chinatown, hosted by Julia Fierro, Founder of Sackett Street Writers' Workshop and author of Cutting Teeth: A Novel
Best-selling author of Girl in Translation talks about her new novel – a story of a young woman’s "balancing-act" between her family in Chinatown and a new-found passion, ballroom dancing.

The first person to say "Mambo in Chinatown" to the Reading Room Coordinator at the event will win a free copy of the book.

7pm: Word for Word Non-Fiction presents Joshua Zeitz, Lincoln's Boys: John Hay, John Nicolay, and the War for Lincoln's Image
Author Joshua Zeitz discusses his latest work. Produced in partnership with New-York Historical Society.

12:30pm: Word for Word Lunch Poems welcomes Tightrope Press
Robin Richardson, Anita Lahey, Sonnet L'Abbe, and Ross Belot read original works as an homage to the 50th Anniversary of the publication of Lunch Poems by Frank O'Hara.

7pm: Word for Word Writers presents Fiction Writing
Pen your own story, poem, or screenplay, at writers workshops guaranteed to improve and perfect. Pre-registration required. Facilitated by Thais Miller; produced in partnership with Gotham Writers' Workshop.

12pm: Word for Word Kids presents Starfish Rocks!
