Behind the Scenes: Film Fest Wayfinding

Behind the Scenes is a weekly series that covers an aspect of the HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival presented by Bank of America, from food to films, traditions to (Airstream) trailers. This series will post each Sunday evening, letting you in on another secret behind the Film Fest. Stick with us for all 10 weeks; by the end you'll be an expert!

We here at Bryant Park think of it as a small place--it's only two streets wide and one avenue long!--so we sometimes forget that our guests do not know the park as intimately as we do. And with more than 9,000 fellow moviegoers filling the park, the Film Fest can be an especially difficult event at which to get your bearings. In the past, we've received feedback from the public indicating that it can be difficult to find important locations, like restrooms, wheelchair ramps, and CART areas.

This map, available here on the blog, Film Fest page, and on Film Fest signs in the park, will help you get where you want to go--and plot out your ideal spot on the lawn!

Join us this evening for The Mark of Zorro, where a caped avenger saves a town of California peasants from villainous ruling Spaniards.
