2) Chess & Backgammon
Our chess experts return on May 1; tournaments will start later in the season.
3) The Reading Room
A refreshed selection of books will mingle with classics, and of course magazines and newspapers. As is Reading Room tradition, programming will kick off on Poem in Your Pocket Day on April 24.

After hibernating this winter, the games on the western edge of the park return with plans for tournaments in the works. The ping pong area will open slightly later in the month as maintenance work finishes.
