Bryant Park's First-Ever Accordion Jam and Dance Party on Thursday, June 20

Join us tomorrow evening (June 20) from 5pm to 9pm for a special edition of our regularly scheduled Accordions Around the World  in Bryant Park. From 5pm to 7pm, the park will feature 20 accordionists positioned throughout the park. You'll travel the world within the park's four square blocks as you hear accordions playing in French, Indie Pop, Classical, Cumbia, Colombian Vallenato, Jazz, Bluegrass, Balkan, Cajun, Argentine Bandoneon, Dominican, Post Modern, and Waltz styles. For a complete listing of performers, please visit the Accordions Around the World page.

The fun kicks into high gear at 7pm with Bryant Park's first ever Accordion Jam and Dance Party. Brooklyn's own Raya Brass Band will perform high-energy Balkan Wedding Music for two hours until 9pm. Check out the video for a preview of the band's exuberant and dynamic style.  We hope you join us for this  Accordion Jam and Dance Party, where the tunes are squeezebox-powered and dancing is irresistible!
