Winter activities for kids kick off at Le Carrousel in Bryant Park. Flaubert Frog entertains with stories, songs, games, and more at Le Carrousel Kids, and magicians Chris Capehart and R.J. Lewis perform tricks of all kinds at Le Carrousel Magique. Stay for the show then take a spin on the carousel or a twirl on The Pond.

One by one, New Jersey based artist, Andrew Tedesco, is breathing new life into the animals (and chariot) of Le Carrousel in Bryant Park. This MSNC featurette points the spotlight on leader of the pack, Granny’s Folly, as Tedesco gives him a whole new look.
The beautiful paint work shown in the video is just one component of a larger carousel renovation project, which began in 2008. Upgrades have also been made to the ticket booth, carousel floor boards, internal mechanisms, and ground surface surrounding the entire structure. So far, the results have been phenomenal, and much appreciated by both the riders and operators of Le Carrousel.
