Walking through the Holiday Shops, the large tote bags at Un Pueblo caught my eye. With their arresting patterns and unusual shape, I knew these bags were something I had to learn more about.
The tote bags occupy the left wall of the kiosk. They are rectangular and stiff, and come in a variety of colors. The bags feature a flap that closes with snaps so that your items are secure. The bags are handmade from recycled plastic by a coop in Mexico, where Eric, the company's owner, lives most of the year.
|Whether you like a pop of color...|
|...or neutrals are your style, there is a color combination and pattern for every taste.|
On the right wall are baskets and various other containers woven from long-stem pine needles. Once again, these items are eco-friendly and support the coop in Mexico. If the tote bags are perfect for entertaining out-of-doors, the baskets and containers are perfect for inside the home for practical uses or decoration. I particularly liked the rectangular baskets, pictured below.
