Shop the Season: Affordable Art

Jenna S. from the executive office takes a look at the many affordable art options at the Bank of America Winter Village Holiday Shops.

After months of apartment hunting, you've finally found the one and now its time to move. You've just moved into the new apartment, just finished unloading box after box, and just put together and completed moving those last pieces of furniture. You've coordinated color schemes, fabrics, accessories, and furniture to give your home that personal touch. You're ready to welcome friends into your new place but notice one thing you hadn't really thought about, how bare the walls are.

There is a good chance you’ve outgrown your college posters and are looking for something a bit more sophisticated. Finding original art by local artists is a perfect way to decorate, reflect your tastes and create a space you enjoy looking at every day. Your bank account will also thank you later since you don’t need a Picasso to give those bare walls an air of sophistication.

To help make your home feel a little more finished, I scoured the Holiday Shops and found some of my favorite affordable art shops that will make a statement without breaking the bank.
