The Bryant Park Reading Room celebrated Bloomsday, the day we praise James Joyce and his work Ulysses, with the lead singer of the Irish rock band Black 47, Larry Kirwan.

7pm: Word For Word Poetry welcomes Canadian Poets

Wednesday
12:30pm: Word for Word Author presents Candace Bushnell, Killing Monica
Hosted by Jay McInerney, Bright Lights, Big City
The Sex and the City author returns to Bryant Park with her classic style, flair, and humor. 
The first person to say "Bright Lights, Big City" to the Reading Room Coordinator at the event will win a free copy of the book.

Thursday
7pm: Word for Word Writers presents Memoir Writing
Pen your own story, poem, or screenplay at writers' workshops guaranteed to improve and perfect. Pre-registration required. Facilitated by Cullen Thomas; produced in partnership with Gotham Writers' Workshop.

Saturday
12pm: Word for Word Kids presents Exotic Animal Meet and Greet with Animal Alley Productions
