Guest Post: Expand Your Horizons with Language Classes

To celebrate the return of many Bryant Park summer programs, and to introduce our readers to our fantastic partners, we asked our partners to write guest blog posts. This post comes from Kathleen Whelan, regional director of inlingua

It's our fourth year of language lessons in the park presented by inlingua. Italian, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese are back by popular demand.  There are countless reasons for learning a new language. Acquiring a new language fosters understanding and respect for other cultures, boosts memory and increases brain power, and can increase job opportunities and help you "get by" when you travel. Whatever your reason is for learning a new language, our lessons at Bryant Park are also a lot of fun. Come join us and begin to look at the world differently.

"If we spoke a different language, we would perceive a somewhat different world."
--Ludwig Wittgenstein, Austrian-British Philosopher
