Food at the Fountain: Mmm...Enfes

A selection of our Holiday Shops have remained open to provide food in the park through March 1. We're thrilled to host Mmm...Enfes, Chimney Cake - The Rolling Pretzel, and Wafels & Dinges on the Fountain Terrace.

Setting up shop on the Fountain Terrace, Holiday Shop favorite mmm...Enfes is serving up some toasty warm Turkish treats. We took a stroll past the frozen fountain and visited the kiosk to take a taste of some items from their menu.

The kiosk is located on the western edge of the Fountain Terrace, right by the steps to the Winter Village Deck
The kiosk counter is packed to the brim with delicious-looking gozleme, savory Turkish pastry dishes made of hand-rolled dough with various toppings and cooked on a griddle. From chicken or beef to spinach and cheese, there are tons of gozleme options for everyone. Pictured below is the spinach and cheese option, which was excellent.

My spinach and cheese gozleme was delicious and incredibly filling
Next I took a satisfying bite of gul borek, which is a cheese and vegetable-filled phylo dough pancake, of sorts. This was the crowd favorite around our executive office.

Lastly, we gave the beef samosas a try - and we were not disappointed. Mmm...Enfes heated them up on thegriddle, which resulted in the perfect crispy, crunchy outside and a warm center.

Mmm...Enfes also has lentil balls, baklava, lentil soup, and a variety of hot drinks to warm you up during this cold NYC winter. Stop by the Fountain Terrace, snap some pics of our favorite frozen fountain, and bite into some authentic Turkish snacks.
