People and Daffodils Alike Reappear in the Park

With 60-degree temperatures yesterday came the return of our favorite Bryant Park scenery: daffodils, lunch crowds, and games in action. Spring will soon be here, and these are our tell-tale signs...

Crowds weaving through the allees during lunchtime;

Tables in use for reading, relaxing, and dining al fresco;
Daffodil shoots arising from nearly 100,000 bulbs;
Players waiting on a game (bring your own equipment until The Tables officially open in April);
P├ętanque courts modeling the posture of strategy;
The return of the lawn: it's barren now, but sometime next week the sod installation begins.

What aspect of spring in Bryant Park are you looking forward to most?
