Kick Up Your Heels at the First #BPSquareDance

#BPSquareDance is back for its second season, and kicks off this Monday, September 9. If you came last year, hold on to your hat because this year is going to be bigger and better than last year.

The September 9 evening takes place in two parts. First our friends Woody Pines will get the crowd going with uptempo country music from 5:30 to 6:30. Then Pat Cannon will lead us through the square dances with her Foot & Fiddle Band until the evening ends at 8:30. No experience or partner is required to join the square dance--Pat and the #BPSquareDance team will get both your left feet dancing!

Woody Pines wows the crowd at Bryant Park After Work Music earlier this season.
We have a special treat for the evening. Pat Cannon and her Foot & Fiddle Band take a creative twist on traditional square dance music, allowing the audience to vote on a classic rock-and-roll song to square dance to! The winning song will be played after the raffle drawing at 7:30. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday, September 8, so vote now below:

Which song would you like to Square Dance to?

We've already revealed our great amenities for the evening, but to review: we'll have corn hole, lasso lessons, a photo booth, bag check, and delicious food and drink for purchase from 'wichcraft. Everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle for tickets from Southwest Airlines and Bryant Park prize packs. Looking to upgrade your Square Dance? Purchase a VIP Ticket on Gilt City for unlimited barbecue and drinks.
