Breakfast Briefings with Wall Street Journal

Next Tuesday, the Southwest Porch welcomes Lynn Tilton, CEO of Patriarch Partners, the largest woman-owned business in the U.S. This upcoming interview with Lynn Tilton continues an outstanding season for Breakfast Briefings - the series presented with The Wall Street Journal that brings leaders in a wide array of disciplines to the Southwest Porch for coffee, breakfast, and conversation. Already this year, we’ve welcomed super-chef Bobby Flay, children’s author Jane O’Connor (Fancy Nancy), and Toni Collette along with the cast and creative team from The Way Way Back.

Ms. Tilton, owner of 75 companies, ranging from MD Helicopters to Stila Cosmetics, appeared as a mentor on WSJ Startup of the Year, a Wall Street Journal documentary series that matches world-class mentors with innovative startups. At next week’s Breakfast Briefing, she will be interviewed by WSJ’s Vanessa O’Connell. The event runs from 9:00-9:30am on Tuesday, July 9. Everyone is welcome, and coffee and breakfast will be provided free of charge by 'wichcraft, but you must pre-register for the event.

Looking down the road, the final Breakfast Briefing of the season is on Tuesday, July 26, when the Southwest Porch welcomes author Sebastian Junger, who will be interviewed by the WSJ’s Wendy Bounds. Pre-register for that event here.
