A Park Packed with Programming

There's always something to do in Bryant Park. You've got to stay on your toes, or you just might miss it! Check out an annotated guide below to what's beginning now in the park, what's ongoing, and what's ending soon. Remember to visit our calendar for complete listings.

Back This Week:
Come face to face with an Eclectus Parrot, gaze at a Macaw, or hold a Conure. Meet the Birds brings exotic winged wonders to Le Carrousel every Tuesday.

Music to lunch by. Enjoy the sounds of World class pianists every day at lunchtime on the Upper Terrace. The great Terry Waldo guests this week  at Piano in the Park with his ragtime sounds.

Learn a new language, or brush up on your Français, Español, Japanese, or Italiano with free language classes presented by inlingua. Sign up for beginner lessons on Mondays, or intermediate discussions on Wednesdays. You'll want to register in advance at inlinguainBryantPark@inlingua.com. Registration opens one week before each class.

Ongoing:
We're so happy to have Fly Fishing and Tai Chi Classes back in the park. Join Orvis on the Upper Terrace for select weekend dates to learn outfit rigging and fly casting in this informative and fun experience.

Bryant Park Tai Chi is also back for its 10th season in the park. This Chinese martial art is lauded for its internal health benefits and physical training. Come learn for free before work with masters from Tai Chi Chuan Center.

Ending Soon:
Our spring classes will come to a close soon, so be sure to participate while you still can! Birding Tours with NYC Audubon go on through May 23. Stop by Monday morning or Thursday after work for a peak at the avian life passing through the park, or check out our list of sightings.

You can also learn to Fence with Manhattan Fencing Center every Friday through June 14 on the 5th Avenue Terrace in front of the NYPL. Be sure to register for this one in advance by calling MFC at 212-382-2255.
