You just never know what you'll find in Bryant Park. Not only do we host the Bryant Park Juggling Club, who offer lessons to beginners and pros alike year-round, but sometimes we get special guests. Last Monday during our regular lunchtime juggling hour, one of the best jugglers in the world joined our group.
Alex Barron holds the world record for most items juggled at once. Since most people struggle to successfully toss around 3 beanbags, we'll give you an idea of what the world record means. In 2011, Alex Barron juggled 13 beanbags for 13 catches. In 2012, he managed to juggle 11 beanbags for a whopping 25 catches!
He happened to be in the park last week, so he stopped by to juggle with our crew, and as most do in the park, paid it forward and taught a few novices some moves. Here's a video of Alex juggling 11 balls.
Think you can master juggling? Dying to learn? Stop by and get a lesson in the park. As Juggler Alex always says, anyone can learn!
