And we did just that this week when we stopped by for a team lunch. We chose the upstairs indoor space with floor to ceiling views of Citi Pond, over the heated outdoor terrace downstairs that sits at the ice skating rink's edge. You'll find a large menu with starters and salads, entrees, cocktails, heart warmers, beer, wine, and dessert. Click for larger images of our selections below.
Our Food Selections:
Shared Appetizers:
Crispy Calamari with chipotle aioli and sweet tomato jam
Wonton Wrapped Mozzarella with tomato and basil inside
Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad
Nonna’s Meatball Sliders
Braised Short Ribs with Wild Mushroom Polenta
Pan Seared Ahi Tuna with seaweed salad and wasabi crema
Home-style Chicken Pot Pie
Our Favorites:
-Meatball sliders were a home-run in portion size, price, and flavor. How can you argue with Nonna's five generation old recipe?
-Wonton wrapped mozarella sticks made an old favorite new again. We all loved that the inside was filled with tomato and basil for extra flavor.
-Ahi Tuna was a light and refreshing choice.
Runners-up:
-The Pot Pie is usually a seasonal favorite in our office. This year's version reminds more of a French Onion Soup construction however, with the soup on the bottom, and puff pastry on the top.
-Calamari was not quite crispy enough for our taste, but we loved the option of two dipping sauces.
Open through March 3, 2013

December 14 to December 30: Noon-Midnight
Some areas of the restaurant may be closed occasionally for private parties, and tables at Celsius become a hot commodity, when the rink is busy on the Holidays and weekends. Celsius does not take reservations. All of that being said, the restaurant is large, and can often seat you right away during the day time.
