Trivia at the Porch, Rocky Horror Style

For the next installment of Fall Movie Trivia at the Southwest Porch, we turn our attention to a cult movie favorite, perfectly timed to get you in the spirit for Halloween. It's the Rocky Horror Picture Show Trivia and Costume Contest! Our science fiction double feature will test your knowledge of this quotable musical, as well as your creativity in costume assembly. Here are some suggestions for one of the most imitated movies of all time.

Classic: Impersonate the interplanetary duo, Riff Raff and Magenta, acting as maid and butler at the Frankenstein place, or innocents Brad and Janet before they've been corrupted.

The Transylvanians: This one probably won't win you any awards, but chances are you already own everything you need. Think New Years Eve, 1974. 

Cheap and Daring: Strip down, bronze up, and dress as title character Rocky or wide-eyed Janet after she's been seduced to the dark side.

Over the Top (for True Fans only): Not for the faint of heart or creatively limited, but sure to take home the big prizes of the night. Mix some lingerie, sparkles and a little bit of gore for some of the best characters in the film: Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Columbia, and Eddie.

 

The quizzical folks at Trivia, A.D. know Dr. Frank-N-Furter, they've been up to the lab, and they've met the man with blond hair and a tan.
