Shop the Season: Santa's Workshop

If you're like today's guest blogger Nancy, you plan early for your post-Thanksgiving tree trimming celebration. She stopped by The Holiday Shops for some new decorations that perfectly fit the bill.

Every year, after enjoying a gluttonous Thanksgiving dinner with my family, comes my favorite activity of the holiday season, putting up the Christmas tree. When the earthy pine scent fills the room and the twinkling lights are strung, I delicately pull out the ornaments one by one. It’s not the generic glass balls that are your favorites, but the special ones that trigger a memory and represent something more; a friendship, family, or love.

Strolling through Bryant Park, I came across Santa’s Workshop, and the rows of sparkling ceramic ornaments caught my eye. My vision glazed over the ornaments of penguins, teddy bears, and figurines until they settled upon this ornament of two snowmen cuddling with the saying, “Our 1st Christmas Together”. I knew I had to get it for my boyfriend’s Christmas tree. Each Santa’s Workshop ornament comes with a free personalization that can be completed in minutes and are priced at about $12.99. The options are endless and you can be guaranteed to find the perfect ornament for anyone on your list.
They also have table d├ęcor for your family, like this adorable display of choiring snowmen that can be personalized with the names of each family member.

Santa’s Workshop has a collection of personalized piggy banks as well, like this “My First Christmas” baby boy bank, decorated with footprints and a choo choo train, which will be the perfect gift for my friend’s first child.
