What's in a Name?

The Bryant Park name once conjured up images of drug dealers and a public space in disrepair. Gradually, the image changed to one of a park that underwent a renaissance and became a lively green oasis in the heart of midtown.

These days, the words Bryant Park may make you think of our iconic chairs, a floral scented perfume, a set of dishes, a pair of shoes, or even a chocolate cupcake. The park's transformation by the Bryant Park Corporation has not only influenced urban planners around the world, but has gained recognition by countless retailers.

And in the retail world, the Bryant Park name gets around. Here are a few of the products we've come across that pay tribute to the park.

The Bryant Park Hanging Hammered Copper Birdhouse from Signature Hardware.

Dashing Diva's shimmery copper Bryant Park Nail Polish.

Bryant Park Perfume by Bond No. 9 featuring hints of Lily of the Valley, rhubarb, pink pepper,
rose, patchouli, raspberry, and amber.

The Bryant Park Collection by Renovations by Thomasville. A full set includes the dresser
above and ten other pieces of furniture.

And the most delicious of the park's namesakes...

the Bryant Park Cupcake from Crumbs Bake Shop on 42nd Street.
