The Pond will be open for free admission ice skating, courtesy of Citi, from Friday, October 29 through Sunday, February 27, 2011 (a full six weeks longer than last year's season!)

  1. Can't wait for The Pond skating and The Holiday Shops to begin....Fantastic and greatest thing that ever happened to the city. !
I do all my Christmas shopping there and I have to admit shopping for myself as well. I love it !!
Honestly,I'm really looking forward for the CELSIUS resturant to open. Their hamburgers and macaroni and cheese must be the best in town...they have the greatest menu...and you get to see all the skating and friends you want.

  2. Yay for The Pond opening again!! My favorite place in the city. Double yay for the longer season!!! Does it open 8AM on the 29th? Or after the lunchtime Grand Opening event?

    Thanks!!

  3. mobi - I think everyone ends up picking up a gift (or two) for themselves at The Holiday Shops! Celsius will be back with new menu items and old favorites like the burgers and mac n' cheese.

Carol - Yes, The Pond will open at 8am on Friday, October 29th. Details of the Grand Opening are not set but it will probably be at lunchtime, similar to last year.
