Blast From the Past

During the April 4, 2009 broadcast of NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion, Garrison Keillor paid tribute to Bryant Park in a poem about springtime in New York City.

Forget the frigid winter weather for now and let Keillor’s voice transport you to the park in April as the sun shines, flowers bloom, and people emerge from indoors to enjoy the Bryant Park Cafe, Reading Room, free WiFi, and a breath of fresh air in midtown Manhattan.
